eCult Skills uses synergies with the eCult Observatory (stemming from the FP7 project eCult Value). The eCult Observatory provides a knowledge environment for new technologies that help accessing and experiencing cultural heritage content. It is geared at cultural actors like museums and other content holders, ICT solution providers, cultural mediators, as well as artists and visitors.
Two Summer Stages in 2014 will familiarise participants, how to best match available technologies with museum needs. These "Ambassadors" will, then, act as intermediaries between cultural heritage content and technology. Findings from eCult Skills can be used for the Summer Stages and experiences gained at these events can help fine-tuning the eCult Skills Role Profiles.
